Caledonian Braves Host Second Annual Owners’ Weekend, Welcoming Global Community to Glasgow

Caledonian Braves FC proudly hosted its second annual Owners’ Weekend, bringing together more than 100 owners from across the globe for a memorable few days in Glasgow and beyond.

Travelling from the USA, France, Germany, Spain, New Zealand, and England, our owners gathered to experience not only the club’s progress on the pitch, but also the unique spirit and culture that defines both the Braves and Scotland itself.

The weekend began on Friday with a Q&A session at The Social Hub, where founders shared insights into the journey so far, the challenges ahead, and the long-term vision for Caledonian Braves and Edusport Academy. It was an open and engaging discussion that reflected the transparency and ambition at the heart of the project.

Saturday brought matchday, giving owners the opportunity to come together and experience the energy and atmosphere surrounding the team. The day concluded with the Player of the Year dinner at Drygate, celebrating the standout performances and achievements across the squad.

This year’s award winners were:

Lennon Walker, who capped off an exceptional season by winning Player of the Year, Players’ Player of the Year, and Top Goalscorer

Aiden Clocherty, named Young Player of the Year

Connor McLaren, awarded Goal of the Season

Beyond the football and celebrations, the weekend also delivered a meaningful economic impact. Collectively, the group contributed over £100,000 to the Scottish economy across accommodation, hospitality, and local experiences—highlighting the wider value of this growing international ownership model.

What continues to set this project apart is the diversity and commitment of its ownership group. Bringing together individuals from different countries, backgrounds, and perspectives creates a dynamic and forward-thinking community, united by a shared belief in doing football differently.

As Caledonian Braves continues to grow, moments like this Owners’ Weekend serve as a powerful reminder of what is being built—something that goes far beyond the pitch.

Plans are already underway for next year’s event, with the ambition to make it even bigger, bolder, and more impactful.

To close, you’ll find a few owners’ reflections on the weekend and what it meant to be part of it :
