John Guthrie
The 23-year-old joined club after two seasons with Albion Rovers, where he made four first team appearances for the Coatbridge side.
Upon joining the club, John instantly became a fans favourite, winning back to back ‘Brave of the Month’ awards for the season in October/November 2019.
The tough-tackling centre-mid is a versatile player who can also comfortably occupy the full back and wing back positions in the team.
John has improved year-in-year-out during his time as a Braves player, overcoming injuries along the way to implement himself as a crucial and dependable presence.
Ahead of the 2023/24 season, John was named as team captain and will therefore wear the armband for the side on gamedays!
