Celtic B vs Caledonian Braves

L 5 - 1

After an opening day victory, Caledonian Braves we’re able to follow up, after falling to a 5-1 defeat to Celtic B.

The Young Hoops got to a flying start, opening the scoring through a Bruno Davidson tap in, within the opening 10 minutes.

Jamie Watson rallied for the Braves just five minutes, with his second goal in as many games. Louis Thompson began the move with a great showing of strength, before moving the ball to Cammy Breadner, whose deflected cross found its way to Watson, who finished empathically.

Unfortunately for the Braves, Celtic B added a second before half time, to enter the break 2-1 up.

Disaster quickly struck in the early stages of the second half, when Celtic B bagged three more goals in a phenomenal five minute period.

These goals virtually ended the Braves hopes to get back into the game, seeing the last 30 minutes out with minimal action.

Overall, a tough evening for the Braves against a quality young side, but we’ll look to bounce back away to Broomhill on Saturday afternoon
