East Kilbride vs Caledonian Braves

The Braves claimed a huge 0-2 victory at K Park, to stay top of the Lowland League!

Cammy Breadner and Ross McNeil would both have chances in the first half, and whilst East Kilbride had plenty of possession, Nathan Flanagan had their only chance of note which was tipped over by Bernie White.

After a well contested first half, Lewis Spence was sent off for a lunge on Kristian Gkegka and EK played the final half hour with 10 men.

Greig Stewart would take full advantage after 75 minutes, by firing a Breadner corner into the back of the net, having found himself unmarked in the middle.

And it would take just five minutes to find our second, when Cammy Breadner picked up the ball at the edge of the box, before firing home with a strike that took a knick off the post on it's way in.

The Braves players certainly enjoyed their celebrations, and will be back for a Scottish Cup tie in Stirling next weekend.
