Caledonian Braves vs Broxburn Athletic

The Braves maintained their undefeated start to the season, with a 1-1 draw against Broxburn.

Ross McNeil gave his side the lead with an early header, after latching onto a long throw after just 6 minutes. 

Reg McLaren would come close to adding a second for the Braves after half an hour, but was stopped by a strong save by Bob Watt.

The Braves showed their superb fitness levels and pressurised Broxburn, who struggled to get out at times during the first half. But despite this, the leveller would come after 33 minutes.

Nick Locke picked up the ball on the left, before dribbling inside. He then dispatched with an impressive low finish that gave Berniw White no chance.

The Brox would go onto have the better of the chances in the second half, with White making an incredible double save to keep the scores level.

The final opportunity of the game fell to Broxburn marksman Errol Douglas, who could only direct a header wide of the Braves goal.
