Caledonian Braves vs Rossvale

The Braves secured their way in the third round of the South Challenge Cup, with goals from McLaren and Breadner being enough to knock Rossvale out.

Midway through the first half, the returning Lennon Walker picked up the ball, before slipping Reg McLaren in behind. Our number 17 controlled and slotted into the far corner, with a low finish that kissed the post on it's way in.

Rossvale would have a golden opportunity to pull level in the second half when they were awarded a penalty, but the spot kick was blasted over the goal of Kyle King.

And Cammy Breadner made sure of the result, when he turned home a Ross McNeil cross to double our lead.

We'll face Arniston Rangers in the 3rd Round next month.
