University of Stirling vs Caledonian Braves

The Braves secure their position in the next round of the Scottish Cup, with a strong performance in Stirling.

Our hosts had a couple great chances in the early moments, but Ross McNeil would make the students pay, when he turned a Reg McLaren cross home just after the half hour mark.

Early in the second half. McLaren would once again be the creator for a goal, when he picked up the ball in the middle of the park. He popped a delightful ball over the defence, which was controlled and finished off by Ross McNeil for his second goal.

The Braves were strong defensively as per usual, and won the game with their clinical play in both boxes, to enter the second round draw.
