Bernie who was born in Liverpool, moved to the US at the age of seven but his love of football remained despite the many other sports on offer.
After graduating from Amherst College, Massachusetts in 2022, Bernie was keen to make the move back to the UK, as a dual citizen and was snapped up by Ricky Waddell in February 2023.
Throughout the tail end of the 2022/23 campaign, the 6 foot 6 shot-stopper secured the starting position within the team and impressed in his appearances. A commanding and vocal figure in the Braves net, Bernie will enjoy his first full campaign as Braves number one this season.
