Braves in the Community

20th December 2023

Earlier this week, the Caledonian Braves players contributed to two charity drives within the local community, in the build up to Christmas!

On Sunday afternoon, a number of players attended FAMS, a local charity established to provide peer-support for individuals affected by murder, suicide, or other mental health issues.

The group went along for a Christmas party, ran for a number of local children from the Motherwell area. Pictured above as a Christmas elf is Jamie Watson and below is Enzo Wright, Jack Brown, Cammy Breadner, Greig Stewart and Blair Hill, who were also joined by first team coach Cole!

You can read more about the fantastic work of FAMS, at the link here.

On Monday, a number of players also attended Bellshill YMCA, to help put together packages, as part of a Christmas food bank appeal.

These packages have been put together for distribution for those in need within the Bellshill and Mossend area.

The players in attendance included Aiden Clocherty, Luke Biggart, Kristian Gkegka, Robbie Stewart, Martin McArthur, Josh Gemmell, Connor Keaney, Jack McDowall, Bernie White and first-team physio Leanne!

Another superb initiative in the local area, you can read more about the YMCA's food drive at the link here.

Thanks goes out to all of our local charities for their selfless work this Christmas!
