January Player of the Month Vote

2nd February 2024

Ricky Waddell has once again provided his four nominees for our first player of the month vote in 2024.

January was an undefeated month for the Braves, although all three games ended as draws.

However, we went away to two title challengers and arguably could've won all three of these games given the performances we put in.

You can vote now on the app... here are your nominees...

Kristian Gkegka

Our midfield engine was once again a heartbeat of our team alongside John Guthrie.

A man-of-the-match performance topped off another great month for the Greek midfielder, against Tranent FC.

Kristian has been nominated in September, November, December and now January, so could this finally be his month?

John Guthrie

Kristian's midfield partner is once again our next nominee, after a similarly consistent month.

Our team captain has skippered the team with distinction and is now our only player to start each and every game in all competition this season.

This is John's third nomination of the season, as he continues his run of consistency in the side!

Jacob Long

Exciting attacker Jacob has impressed in recent games as both a number 10 and on the wing.

With great competition in these areas of thee park, Jacob spent time out of our starting XI over recent times.

However he came back into the side in December, bagging a goal against Cumbernauld Colts.

In January, Jacob started away to East Kilbride, coming close to finding a winner and also started on the wing against Tranent, after being an unused sub against Albion Rovers.

Jack Brown

And last but certainly not least is dependable right -back Jack Brown.

The team only conceded one goal from open play this month, so it's only natural that a defender would be nominated.

Often on un-sung hero at the back, Jack is a worthy nominee after another great month for the club.

A tough choice this month, so make sure you get your vote in before our deadline on Tuesday the 6th of February.
