Jean Guy's Final Update from France

2nd March 2020

Jean Guy has been back in France since December as he underwent an operation and rehabilitation back in his native home. The tricky winger has been much missed since he departed Alliance Park but he will be back at Braves very soon.

Here's a last message from the Frenchman.

"It has been two months since I have been back in France for rehabilitation. My surgery was completed one month and half ago. Then I entered my four weeks in a rehability centre in Nantes, France.

I have achieved great progress and very quickly in a short space of time but it’s not finished yet. There is still a lot of work to do for me. At the centre I had two sessions of physio and two sessions of sport per day, then when I was out of the centre the doctor give me the go ahead to start a bike program’s. I have training 4-5 times a week on the bike. I initially started with only 30 minutes maximum but now each week I build it up to work on my cardio and muscle.

I am aiming for a return to Scotland on the 8th of March. I can’t wait to come back and be part of the group, as well as keeping my rehabilitation going with the best physio Rossco!

I have been watching the braves closely. Even though it has been a bad time for us since I left Scotland, I feel there has been a great reaction in last few weeks. The boys will work hard to finish the season well and I’m sure they will, I have full belief in the players and all the staff. We are still building the club and we are on the good way at the moment.

Allez les braves !!
