Caledonian Braves FC can confirm that Leo McCartney and Lewis Allan will be leaving the club.
Both players are 19 years old and have been part of the first-team squad, making senior appearances during their time with the Braves. They are young players with clear potential, but after discussions with both Leo and Lewis, it has been agreed that the best next step for their development is to move on in search of more regular first-team football.
Lewis has been unfortunate with injury during his time at the club, while Leo has also had spells disrupted, including a period on loan with Sauchie Juniors. With limited opportunities for consistent game time at present, the club believes both players will benefit from joining an environment where they can play regularly, continue their development, and fulfil their potential.
Everyone at Caledonian Braves FC would like to thank Leo and Lewis for their efforts, professionalism, and contribution to the first team. They have both played their part during their time at the club, and we wish them every success as they take the next steps in their careers.
The club will support both players as they look to secure new opportunities.
