McLear, Lindsay and Butterworth make injury returns

27th January 2023

Leanne Glatley (club physio) has kindly provided an update on the health of the squad as the team thankfully looks to be returning to close to full strength following numerous mid-season injuries.

Ross Lindsay

After 7 long months out with a groin injury, the club captain had his first start during the week as he completed 45 mins in a friendly against Kilsyth Rangers and looks on the road to getting back up to full match fitness.

Lewis McLear

Having been out the whole of this season and the end of last with a similar groin injury to Ross, Lewis is now finally back on the pitch ready to build up some game time.

Zac Butterworth

Zac is back in action and fit to play this weekend against Spartans after dealing with a minor hamstring injury.

Jack McDowall

After a minor set back during a training session, Jack is looking at mid-February before getting some game time after an extended period out following a knee operation in November 2022.

Greig Stewart

Greig will unfortunately be looking at a 6-8 week recovery time following a fracture to his femur during our last league game against Tranent Juniors.

Cole Starrs

After waiting patiently for over a year, player turned coach Cole has finally received his knee operation following a horrible ACL and meniscus injury all the way back in September 2021. We wish him all the best in his recovery!
