Cole Starrs

A former Scotland youth international, Cole represented his country at Under-17 level while playing with Motherwell FC, where he developed within one of Scotland’s leading youth systems. His experiences as a player at the highest levels of youth football have given him valuable insight into player development and the pathway required to progress within the game.

Cole joined Caledonian Braves in 2021 as a player, quickly becoming an important part of the club environment. However, following a long-term injury, Cole made the transition into coaching, embracing a new challenge and continuing to contribute to the club in a different capacity.

Since moving into coaching, Cole has continued to develop his knowledge of the game while working towards his coaching qualifications. His understanding of the club, connection with the players and commitment to continual improvement make him an important member of the First Team setup.

Cole’s journey reflects the values at the heart of Caledonian Braves — creating opportunities, developing people and supporting individuals as they grow within the football environment. As the club moves forward, his energy, experience and passion for the Braves project will remain a valuable asset both on and off the pitch.
