Michael Paton

Michael “Pates” Paton joins the Caledonian Braves coaching staff as First Team Coach, bringing a wealth of experience from across Scottish football both as a player and coach.

Michael arrives at the Braves following his time with Albion Rovers, where he combined playing and coaching responsibilities, developing a reputation for his football knowledge, leadership and ability to support player development.

Having worked closely with Jamie McNee over the past decade, Michael brings a strong understanding of the manager’s philosophy and approach. His experience across different levels of the Scottish game will be a valuable asset as the Braves look to continue developing players, building a strong team culture and pushing towards new ambitions.

With his blend of playing experience, coaching insight and passion for developing footballers, Michael will play an important role in helping shape the next chapter at Caledonian Braves.
